Meet The Staff

Lorna McKee, our Front Office Check-in Receptionist, will be your first point of contact when visiting our office.  She will guide you through the check-in process insuring all documentation is in order prior to your visit with the doctor. 

Lauren Florzak, our Front Office Check-out Receptionist, offers support to our patients by scheduling appointments. She also reviews insurance benefits at the time of checkout for proper collection of payment.   In addition, Lauren also provides support to our patients by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and handling telephone calls.

Donna Shoemake, CPOA, ABOC, our Lead Optician, has over a quarter century in the optical business and is certified as a Dispensing Optician in the State of Texas. She brings both knowledge and experience in providing information on the best optical products and services to our patients.

Cindy Adams,  brings both knowledge and experience in providing information on the best optical products and services to our patients.

Christine Vollmer, ABOC, supports the doctor as the Lead Optical Technician   She has worked in the optical industry for over 15 years and brings invaluable optical experience. Although her primary responsibility lies in working alongside the Doctor to administer pre-testing of patients as well as other intricate testing procedures, Christine may be found in the optical dispensary as well or providing contact lens instruction for new contact lens wearers.  Christine was honored in 2005 with the Helen Keller Award from the 2X-1 District.  

Jennifer Weatherly, supports the doctor as an Optical Technician and brings invaluable optical experience. Jennifer works alongside the Doctor to administer pre-testing of patients as well as other intricate testing procedures.

Pam Davis, our insurance coordinator, files insurance claims on your behalf.  Her attention to detail makes sure that all claims are filed accurately and in a timely manner.
